Zold...I mean sold.

As I was debating on whether or not to go with the zebra striped Zubaz or the sweatpants, I came accross this 5-Star review on Amazon.com which was quite helpful:

"There is nothing more comfortable than my Zubaz pants when I'm playing World of Warcraft for 5 days in a row. It gives an exotic safari-like vibe to the usual sweatpant boners I get after popping loads of Viagra. I find that they dry quite quickly too. I would suggsest pairing these pants with a wolf breakthough tshirt or a D.A.R.E. tshirt."

Season Finale

As Darrin would say..."It...was......AWESOME." What made it even more awesome was that it was my first race for my new team, POLSKA.

WORS #12.......Sheboygan

Photos: Xtreme Photography (In case you couldn't tell...)

This was a heck of a race. It was cold, 30's, and mostly in the shade of the forest. I wasn't dressed for the weather...I think I was 1 out of 3 or 4 that did it up heavy in just a kit. At the end of the race my body was completely numb and was ready to shut down.

There were a TON of Cat II/Comp dudes out for this race...84 to be exact. The start was congested and sketchy but I managed to get to the single track in decent position. Made some ninja-like passes, kept the gas on hard, wound up 2nd Age/8th Overall.

Overall, Sheboygan was a great way to wrap up the season. With new goals, a new team, and a new perspective, I'm looking forward to ripping it W.E.T.C. style in 2010.

Seriously. Wednesday's at Lapham are the sh*t. If you weren't there, you missed out.

Lapham Peak Tonight!

Trust me, in most situations you don't want to look over your shoulder and see this crew coming...

...but on Wednesday Lapham Peak Night, it's all about the good times. Weather permitting (no rain), I'll be there at 5PM with the rest of the crew following suit. All are welcome! E-mail me at cisnerosbl03@uww.edu if you have any questions.

WORS #11...Wolf River Rendezvous

Thanks Kelli and Xtreme for the photos!

Ahhh yes...the Wolf River Rendezvous...where to begin? Well, I'll start off by saying this is by far my best race of the year...here's how it went down:

Got turned around on the drive up Sunday morning (my directions were horrible and I didn't have a map) and I ended up an hour in the wrong direction. Once I finally figured out where I was going, I knew I was going to be late for the race.

I pulled into Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure's parking lot at 1:30pm just as Don was starting out the Elite Women. This was not good. I didn't have time to eat, drink, warm up, go to the bathroom...nothing. I quick filled one bottle with water, put on the kit, and sprinted to registration. At this point they were sending out my flight, the Comp wave.

By the time I got my jersey number pinned and my number plate on, the race had already begun and I was starting out about 5 minutes behind my age division/class. I flew through the start line and I got all sorts of strange looks from Ed (WORS Race Director), Kelli, and the spectators. Kelli said to me, "Are you racing today?"

Long story short, I was running off pure adrenaline. I hit every climb hard in the big ring. I was out of the saddle sprinting on every flat or open section to try and get back into position. I had no idea what place I was in, how many people I passed, or what sort of time I was making/gaining. I thought for sure I was going to end up somewhere in 20th+ place.

Ended up 2nd in age, 8th overall. Stoaked! I had so much fun at this race, can't wait for next weekend! Time to get my act together.

Big props to Ronsta and Maciej for ripping it up. Awesome job WETC!
